A 2,000 Sq.Ft. accessory dwelling located on a steep site in Alexandria VA. With the site restrictions and design parameter in mind the dwelling was split into 3 floors serving different needs and purposes. The dwelling is divided into three main areas ; Entry and guest area, Family area and Private area. The design focuses on providing privacy from the surrounding lots while maintaining a well lit, open space. This was achieved by providing floor to ceiling bi-fold doors to create balconies on each floor. To add privacy between the first and second floor,which have a 12’ X12’ floor opening, a fully automated shading system was designed to allow sun and air through while providing visual privacy.
A track light fixture series based on Flex OLED.
The first called the “spot”, as its concave curves create a spot light effect. The other called the “Flood light” for its convex curve, creating a flood light effect.

A micro apartment in Brooklyn designed to fit the life of two professionals with room, and passion, to entertain.
This micro sized pad can transform from a double occupancy, to a small home office, to a movie theater and even a dining area for up to 8. This is achieved by a custom made rolling bench that transforms into a couch. The master bed is hidden behind a custom murphy bed with a desk.
The second bed is 'made' of a stationary seating area and the rolling Bench. When combined, they create a queen size bed.

A 2,200 Sq.Ft cafe concept based in Cairo Egypt. The cafe caters traditional middle eastern food and drinks while providing an atmosphere that reminds the customer of a bedouin tent during the night, with a full starry night above. The space is divided into a reception, Traditional cafe seating, and family/VIP areas. The VIP area is in the center of the space and is created with traditional fabrics draped from the ceiling. The cafe seating is a modern representation of traditional middle eastern coffee shops, with in-line seating on either side of the VIP booths. The interior of the space has a dramatic feel with the primary source of light being candles and a pitch black ceiling that has scattered LED of different sizes and colors to represent the open desert night sky.

The design optimizes the space layout with a reception area that leads into a scalable open office space area and 3 glass enclosed executive offices with ample space, which capture and maximize daylight, as well as provide noise isolation from the rest of the office.
