John Giorno’s Archives (1936—ongoing) are made up of 15,147 documents.
mixing his private life and artistic life, with each document digitized and reproduced on a sheet of colored paper adapted to a standard A4 scale. The installation is arranged chronologically on the walls of Sky Art in a grid.
We provided value engineering and project supervision to ensure the artists studio meets its specific requirements.
Visitors are invited to dive into Giorno’s life
by looking at binders of archival material, compiled by archivists Marcia Bassett and Anastasia Clarke, that are available on nearby custom built cement board tables.
