A Sanctuary Among the Tree
Tucked within the forested grounds of Colegio Mesoamericano, this mindfulness therapy space offers students a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect with nature. Designed to feel distinctly apart from the everyday school environment, the pavilion invites calm through its warm timber finishes, soft light, and the soothing sounds of rain on clay tiles. It’s a space where nature and architecture work together to support well-being and self-discovery.
Built with Care, Managed with Intention
In collaboration with CAUKIN Studio and the Meso Foundation, TW2M led project and construction management for this initiative, coordinating international participants and local craftspeople through an eight-week build, deep within the forest of Chimaltenango, Guatemala. With sustainability and longevity at its core, the project used locally sourced materials and community-driven craftsmanship to create a lasting sanctuary for generations of students.
